SMS Terms & Conditions
The terms for texting with us. Short, because texting should be simple.

These terms cover the text message service (the “Service”) operated by Hoffmann Underground, LLC (“Hoffmann Underground,” “we,” “us”) from our business phone numbers. By opting in to texts from us, you agree to these terms.
What we text about
Work, and only work: bid follow-up, scheduling, crew arrival, site access, and questions that come up on the job. Message frequency varies with how active the job is. This is a two-way conversation about your project, not a marketing list.
How you opt in
You opt in by giving us your mobile number and agreeing to be texted. That can happen when you check the text-message consent box on our contact form, when you give us your number on a bid or contract, when you agree verbally in conversation, or when you text us first. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of doing business with us.
How you opt out
Reply STOP to any text from us. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that unless you opt in again. Opting out does not affect the work: we will simply call or email instead.

Cost and carriers
Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier, not by us. We are not responsible for carrier charges, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your part
You confirm that the mobile number you give us is yours (or that you are its regular user), that you are at least 18, and that you are a United States resident. Anyone with access to your phone may see the messages we send you; we are not responsible if that happens.
Consent to contact
By opting in, you authorize Hoffmann Underground, LLC to send text messages to the number you provided, including messages sent with the help of computer-assisted dialing or messaging technology, for the work-related purposes described above.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update the date above, and the change takes effect once it is posted here.
